Agartala: Mar 16: MLA Birjit Sinha has raised concerns regarding a recent social media post by Minister Sudhanshu Das, alleging that it could potentially inflame communal tensions. Addressing the media on Sunday, Sinha described Das as a responsible minister but expressed disappointment over the post, which reportedly referenced the Mughal Empire.
Sinha further claimed that this was not the first instance where the minister had raised sensitive issues, citing previous remarks related to Hindu-Muslim matters. He emphasized that such actions are concerning and should be avoided, particularly by individuals in positions of responsibility.
Highlighting the importance of democratic values, Sinha urged the state government to take appropriate action regarding the minister’s post.
