The situation came under control with the action of police and TSR jawans. Then everything was completed peacefully but the miscreants organized an attack on the party office at Jiraniya Tipra Matha during the night. Various materials were vandalized in the party office. Later miscreants set fire to the party office. All those who organized this event came with black cloth on their faces. And all of them are workers of the ruling party, the Tipra Matha workers alleged. The party workers also complained that two loud noises were heard after they closed the office at eight o’clock that night and went home. Immediately came in front of the office and saw that the fire was burning.

Locals came forward and put out the fire, said one of the workers in the area. State BJP president Rajiv Bhattacharya came to the meeting and challenged Takarjala and he will hold meetings in Khumulwng. But Tipra Matha has no objection to this. Welcome the state BJP president. But even then they alleged that the attack on Tipra Matha’s office was organized by conspiracy. MLA Swapna Debbarma visited the party office on Saturday after this incident. He strongly condemned the incident. Currently, the situation in the area is tense. Police and paramilitary forces are deployed.
