Agartala: Power and Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath today accompanied by the Pradhan, Upa-Pradhan, and Panchayat Samiti members from all 20 Gram Panchayats under the Mohanpur block, visited the Tripura Sundari Temple today to offer prayers for the welfare and prosperity of the people and the state.
The Minister said that the public representatives, along with him, offered prayers to Maa Tripura Sundari and toured the entire temple premises during the visit.
“They later spent time at the meditation centre inside the temple complex, where some members read the Bhagavad Gita while others engaged in quiet prayer and reflection,” the Minister added.
Temple authorities informed that this is the first time this meditation centre was used.
The Minister remarked that arriving at the temple at daybreak felt like responding to a divine call.
He shared that standing alongside local representatives and praying for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of every resident of the state was a deeply humbling experience.
He further said that the serene ambience of the temple served as a reminder that blessings come with responsibilities, and that devotion is closely linked to dedicated public service.
“May light overcome every form of darkness and bring harmony to all hearts,” the Minister said.
