In response, the administration assured the militants that Minister Bikash Debbarma of the Janajati Welfare Department would hold a meeting with them on March 4. As promised, Minister Debbarma met with the TUIRPC, an organization representing the surrendered militants, at Mahakaran on Tuesday. During the meeting, the minister was informed about various demands, including the provision of accommodation, the government’s financial support for their children’s education up to higher education, and the immediate withdrawal of all cases against them.
