Agartala, October 9: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will be present at the Khumulwng public meeting called by TIPRA Motha on October 14. TIPRA Motha chief Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman gave this news in an audio message on Monday. Conrad Sangma is the Chief Minister of BJP-ruled Meghalaya. The news of the Chief Minister of the BJP-ruled state attending the public meeting called by the opposition TIPRA Motha has raised many questions in the political circles. The rally was called by TIPRA Motha to demand Greater Tipraland. The demand for Greater Tipraland lacks the support of the BJP government in the state and at the centre. TIPRA Motha recently observed a 12-hour bandh over this demand. The 12-hour shutdown in the ADC area on September 30 was successful. This public rally has been called to increase pressure on the central government. And the Chief Minister of the ruling BJP party is going to join the movement of this opposition party. As usual, the main demand of TIPRA Motha party is supporting the demand of Greater Tipraland by the BJP government of Meghalaya state because Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will be present.
