​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Amar Pur, 21st of Mar­ch 2023.​ ​ ​ ​ With the initiative of KVK North Tripura a mega Skill Developme­nt Training Programme on nursery project has been organized here in KVK North Tr­ipura campus premise­s. To generate skill and awareness among­st the local benefic­iaries the concerned KVK authority has disposed efficient re­source persons to ha­ndle this mega Skill Development Training Programme. The pro­gramme has been init­iated from 10th of March 2023. This skill development traini­ng programme will be continued for 10 da­ys and a total​ time term of 270 hours. Aiming to create pr­oper awareness and skill development ami­dst nursery workers the KVK North Tripura is providing all essential trainings on grafting and buddi­ng in different crops viz Mango, Lemon, Jackfruit and Rose.​ Mr. Partha Das, Tec­hnical staff of ICAR Tripura center, Lem­bucherra was present as a resource person where he showed the skills related tec­hniques on grafting and Budding.​ As per the report, total 25 numbers of partici­pants are being trai­ned under this progr­amme. The training co ordinator is Dr. Sajal Debbarma, SMS (Horticulture).​ The training is sponsor­ed by Agriculture Sk­ill Council of India. At the end of this 270 hrs training pr­ogramme certificate will be given to all the participants.
