Agartala June 8: One of the missions of the Narendra Modi-led government of the country is the welfare of the poor. The government has planned to build these light house to house 1000 families. Mayor Deepak Majumder, Bharatiya Janata Party State Secretary Rituraj Sinha visited the ground to inspect the progress of the lighthouse work on Thursday morning. The mayor and BJP state secretary among others were informed about the progress of the work by talking to the contractors and workers there.

Later, BJP state secretary Rituraj Sinha told the media that providing housing for the poor people in urban areas is a big challenge. Especially in a city like Agartala. As a result of which this type of light house construction. Only 6 places in the country have been approved for pilot projects for construction of light houses in such urban areas. Technology imported from Auckland, New Zealand is being applied in the construction of this light house. The Prime Minister has confirmed bringing this technology from Auckland to Agartala. The construction of this light house will not only benefit the economically weaker sections. At the same time this light house is being built by composite design. It will have Anganwari Centre, Community Hall, Health and Wellness Centre. As a result, it will be possible to fulfill the needs of people. 1000 thousand people will get the benefit of living in it. Once the construction of this project is completed, it will not only increase the glory of Agartala city and state, but will come up as a great example for the entire country. More such projects will be implemented in the coming days. He also said that because the soil was not strong, they had to go up to 30 meters deep to build the building. Piling has been done from there. This cost extra time. However, the project will be completed soon. BJP state secretary Rituraj Sinha expressed hope that the construction work will be completed and ready for inauguration by December 2023. He thanked the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister and the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation for the successful implementation of this project.
