Agartala: March 31. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday said that the victory of BJP in Tripura was assured by witnessing the huge crowds during the nomination filing for BJP candidates in the state.
Dr. Saha said this while addressing a gathering at Garji in Gomati District, where the participation of women was noticeable.
“Keeping PM Modi’s hope to cross over 400 seats in Lok Sabha, we are working, and from the West Parliamentary Constituency, Biplab Kumar Deb, and in the East seat, Kriti Singh Debbarma will contest. When we went to file nominations in both seats, we witnessed massive crowds of people which indicated what will happen on June 4. We will win both the seat”, said Dr. Saha.
He said that if women are not strengthened, then the strengthening of the country is not possible.
“To empower and strengthen women, we have kept 33% reservation in jobs for women, 55% in stall distribution. Apart from this, we have taken more decisions to empower women,” said the Chief Minister.
Dr. Saha also criticized the CPIM and Congress for their alliance and unleashing terror across the state during their regime.
“Opposition always said that law and order is not good, but what we have seen is that during their regime, elections meant terror, violence but the 2023 Assembly election was held in a peaceful way. No violence had taken place. We must visit house to house to strengthen the relationship with the public and to gain support and also to ask people to give blessings to PM Modi. If we want to strengthen the country, then we will need Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. PM Modi always works for the people and gives a guarantee. We always respect the constitution. Many people were killed and violence took place in the last 35 years. During elections, opposition party members had to leave the state in fear. But it is unfortunate that now Congress has come into an alliance with CPIM and formed INDI alliance in which only I will be left,” he added.
On this day, Dr. Saha also interacted with senior citizens and eminent personalities of Kakraban Mondal.
