Kavita Riyan, who had been shot, was rushed to the Hapania Hospital for treatment and is currently undergoing medical care. The police have confirmed that the firearm used in the incident, along with two live rounds, was recovered from Balbir Singh during his arrest.

Balbir Singh, a resident of Hapania Kartik Chowmuhani under the Amatali Police Station’s jurisdiction, was immediately taken into police custody. Authorities have filed charges against him under relevant sections related to attempted murder, illegal possession of firearms, and other related offenses. Investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the shooting, and further legal action will be taken based on the findings.

The case highlights growing concerns over illegal firearm possession and domestic violence in the region, as authorities work to ensure public safety and enforce the law.
