Agartala: July 02: In a significant administrative reshuffle in Tripura, several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including two District Magistrates, were transferred on Tuesday.
Gomati District Magistrate Tarit Kanti Chakma has been relieved of his current duties and appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). Replacing him, Rinku Lather, who was serving as ADM and Collector of Sepahijala and Additional Commissioner of AMC, has been appointed as the new DM of Gomati.
In another major change, Dhalai District Magistrate Saju Vaheed A has been transferred and posted as Managing Director (MD) of the National Health Mission (NHM) Tripura. He will also hold the additional charge of Member Secretary, NAM. Meanwhile, Prashant Badal Negi, who previously held multiple portfolios including MD NHM, has been relieved from that responsibility along with his additional charges.
ADM and Collector of West Tripura, Megha Jain, has been posted as Director of Urban Development, Commissioner of TUDA, and CEO of Tripura Jal Board. Vivek H.B, currently Commissioner of Taxes with additional roles in urban development, will replace Saju Vaheed A as the new DM of Dhalai.
Dr. Shailesh, Director of Industries and Commerce, has been relieved from his additional charge as Director of Skill Development. Pradip K., ADM and Collector of South Tripura, has now been appointed as the new Director of Skill Development.
In addition to these key changes, five other officers from the IAS, IFS, and TCS cadres have also been transferred in this reshuffle aimed at streamlining administration and governance across the state.
