Agartala, August 16: Indo- Bangla Maitri Setu will be opened from September 1. Soon the traffic will start over Sabroom Maitri Setu. Today, a preparatory meeting was organized in the conference hall of Sabroom Nagar Panchayat in the presence of the District Magistrate of South District.
In this regard, Saju Wahid, the District Commissioner of South District, said that the India-Bangla Friendship Bridge will be opened from September 1. The system of travel between the two countries will start over the bridge.
After the meeting on this day, Sabroom’s Maitri Setu and ICP were visited by District Magistrate of South District, Chairman of LPAI and other officials including high ranking officer of BSF.
