Agartala: Jan 24: Maharaj of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram has passed away. On Tuesday Sri Sri Ramakrishna Vivekenanda Ashram at Madhuban Ranirkhamar Maharaja Shrimat Swami Mritunjayananda suddenly felt ill at the ashram. Immediately others from the ashram took Maharaj to Agartala IGM Hospital and admitted him. Finally, after failing all the efforts of the doctor, he breathed his last at 5:35 on Wednesday morning.

The dead body of Maharaj was brought to the ashram. As the news of his death spread throughout the area, the people of the area thronged the ashram and paid their last respects to Maharaj with flowers.
