Dharmanagar: In a bizarre incident, Tripura Police on Wednesday detained a 24 years old Bangladeshi lady who entered Tripura with her Indian boyfriend to lead a happy conjugal life. All her dreams came crashing down after police succeeded in arresting her on charges of passport violation. Her boyfriend is still elusive. Police said a manhunt is underway to trackdown the accused Nur Jalal.

The Bangladeshi lady Fatema Nursat was, on the other hand, produced before the Court on Thursday and sent to jail custody.

According to sources, Nur Jalal, a traditional healer, frequently visited Bangladesh for his work, primarily to procure herbs and plants with medicinal properties. He met her during one of his visits and fell in love with her. It is pertinent to mention here that Fatema was already married in Bangladesh.

To avoid all the hindrances in their love story, they eloped last week and reached Tripura.

Despite their efforts to stay hidden, the couple couldn’t escape the notice of Tripura police.
