Agartala January 6: The 14th tri-annual state conference of the Tripura Employees’ Coordinating Association was held under the slogan ‘Intensify the struggle for the restoration of deprived rights and democracy’. The two-day state conference will be held at Agartala Town Hall. A public rally was held at Agartala Town Hall on Saturday on the occasion of the 14th Tri-Annual State Conference of Tripura Employees Coordination Committee. SC Kumar, General Secretary of All India State Government Federation, was present as speaker in this public meeting.
He criticized the government while highlighting the current situation of the state and the country. He said the government has stopped regular jobs in various fields. As a result, on the one hand, the office workers are facing problems; on the other hand, the unemployed are suffering from depression. So demand the government to provide regular jobs. In addition, on this day, voices were raised on the legal rights to protect the interests of the workers, the right of farmers to get the minimum support price of the crops produced, the right of teachers and employees to receive pension according to the defined benefit pension system, the right of the people of the tribal people to the forest, the right to freely express their opinions, the unemployed to regular positions, right to employment and right to equal pay for equal work, right to personal development etc. Swapan Bal, general secretary of the state committee of the organization, Mahua Roy, the leader of the organization and others were also present in the organized rally.
