Agartala: August 03: Yesterday, a joint operation by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the 42nd Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) resulted in the arrest of an Indian tout in the Madhyacharipara border area. The individual, identified as Rupon Mia, is set to be produced in court today, with authorities seeking police remand.

GRP OC Tapas Das confirmed the arrest, stating that Rupon Mia had previously been implicated in a case. Das further explained that Mia was involved in facilitating the illegal entry of Bangladeshis into Tripura. A new case has been filed against him, and he will face court proceedings today.
