Job seekers of STGT stages protest at Education Building

Agartala: Feb 01: On Thursday, youths appearing for the STGT examination in 2022 protested at Shiksha Bhawan demanding their jobs. They demanded the state government to appoint them immediately. They said they gave the exam in September 2022. TRB is yet to declare their final results.

They are disappointed. They also said that the Lok Sabha elections may be announced in the next few days. Once the Lok Sabha elections are announced, their recruitment process will be postponed again. So they will benefit if the government takes a positive role in speeding up the recruitment process.

 

On this day, a deputation was submitted to higher education department official NC Sharma demanding speedy appointment. They said that they tried to meet the minister many times. But they did not get a chance to meet. So they will continue their agitation until they are appointed, he said, drawing the attention of the government.
