International Yoga Day celebrated in Tripura

Agartala, June 21: International Yoga Day was celebrated in Tripura with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. On this day, the main event was officially held at the Hapania International Fair premises. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha inaugurated the yoga camp there. Moreover, International Yoga Day was celebrated simultaneously in all the mandals of the state on the initiative of the state BJP.

On this day, Chief Minister (Professor) Dr. participated in the Yoga Day program organized by BJP Tripura Pradesh Committee at Agartala NSRCC. Manik Saha Besides, he also participated in the yoga festival organized at the Hapania International Fair premises on the initiative of Sports and Youth Welfare Department. The Chief Minister said that yoga is rooted in ancient Indian tradition. It keeps our body and mind healthy. He also said that this year the theme of International Yoga Day is Yoga for Vasudhiva Kutumbakam. which reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the well-being of people around the world as one family. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tingku Roy, Vice Principal Ramprasad Pal and local MLA Meena Rani among others were present at the yoga camp along with government and administration officials.

 

State BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharya participated in the Yoga Day program organized by BJP Tripura Pradesh Committee at NSRCC in Agartala on this day. He also participated in International Yoga Day celebrations at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Higher Secondary School.
