International Workers’ Day celebrates

Agartala May 1: A rally was organized in Agartala city on the occasion of International Workers’ Day on May 1 on the initiative of Professional Sales Representative Union. Members of PSRU took part in the procession on 137th May Day. After the procession, the program of the next day was discussed in the office room of the union.

The rights earned by the workers are being taken away day by day. There is no legal protection. Union general secretary Partha Sarthi Saha demanded to return the earned rights. He also said that the price of medicine is increasing every day. Everyone is worried especially because the price of baby food is increasing at an excessive rate. Therefore, he demanded that the government should take steps to control the price of medicines.
