Agartala: May 08: A distressing incident unfolded in Ward No. 2 of Kanchanmala SB School, Kanchanmala area, under the Golaghat Assembly Constituency, where an elderly man suffered brutal mistreatment at the hands of his own son. The heart-wrenching episode has left the community in shock.

Raju Biswas, an elderly man, was physically assaulted by his son, Mantu Biswas, a few months ago. The attack resulted in broken bones in Raju’s hand and waist. Despite the severity of his injuries, Raju Biswas has received no proper medical attention. Instead, he remains bedridden, bound with ropes, and subjected to treatment worse than that given to animals, allegedly at the hands of Mantu Biswas and his mother.
