Agartala, October 10: Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurated a 33 KV power sub-station at Golagathi at a cost of Rs 10.8 million.
On this day, he said, the work of this sub station started in February 2021. The work has been completed by the Power Grid Corporation funded by the Government of India and the World Bank. According to him, there has been a problem of electricity in vast areas inhabited by castes. He hoped that the completion of this sub-station would usher in a new day in electricity service in the area.
On this day, he also said that the people of that area will get uninterrupted electricity service from now on. Besides, he said with strong conviction that this power sub station will play an important role in the agricultural development of the area.
