ILS Hospital suspended medical services for Bangladeshi nationals

Agartala: Nov 30: ILS Hospital in Agartala has suspended medical services for Bangladeshi nationals in response to the ongoing attacks on minorities in Bangladesh . This decision comes after protests erupted in Agartala, with demonstrators demanding a complete ban on treatment for Bangladeshi patients. The hospital’s move is seen as a form of solidarity with the victims of these attacks and a statement against the growing tension between India and Bangladesh.

The protests in Agartala were sparked by the disrespect shown towards the Indian national flag and the ongoing persecution of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. It’s worth noting that ILS Hospital has a significant international patient base, particularly from Bangladesh, and has special facilities in place for patients from that country. However, the current situation has led to a reevaluation of these services.
