Agartala: July 12: Bishalgarh’s Ghania Mara area has become heated ahead of the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections. Allegations of Congress and BJP are counter-allegations. BJP workers alleged that they were coming from Kamthana area by car. After the Ghanimas came to Chaumuhani area, they were attacked by Congress sponsored miscreants. Their car was vandalized.
Asik Mia, Chiranjit Debnath and Diptanu Sarkar were injured in this incident. After the incident, the injured were taken to Vishalgarh sub-district hospital. From there they were referred to GB Hospital for better treatment. However, Congress leader Jaydev Burman countered. He said BJP sponsored miscreants vandalized the Congress party office in Aravindnagar Gram Panchayat area. 20 to 25 BJP sponsored miscreants vandalized the Congress office. Even women Congress workers were molested. The ruling party knows they have lost ground. So they attacked innocent people and supporters of Congress workers. He claimed that the situation would turn dire if the police could not arrest the accused within 24 hours. The situation has become heated in the Ghanimara area of Bishalgarh amid accusations and counter-accusations by the BJP and the Congress. Major events can occur in the area at any time. Now let’s see what measures the police take to maintain peace in the area.
