BJP workers alleged that they were coming from Kamthana area by car. After the Ghanimas came to Chaumuhani area, they were attacked by Congress sponsored miscreants. Their car was vandalized.
Asik Mia, Chiranjit Debnath and Diptanu Sarkar were injured in this incident. After the incident, the injured were taken to Vishalgarh sub-district hospital. From there they were referred to GB Hospital for better treatment. However, Congress leader Jaydev Burman countered.
