Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu graced the vibrant and solemn Celebration of Constitution Day held at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Kunjaban, Agartala, earlier this morning. The event, organized with great enthusiasm by the school community, served as an important reminder of the values, rights, and responsibilities enshrined in the Constitution of India. Students, teachers, and invited guests gathered with patriotic fervour to honour this significant day in the nation’s democratic journey.

Upon his arrival, the Governor was warmly welcomed by the Principal, staff members, and student representatives. The school band presented a ceremonial salute, adding dignity to the occasion. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge and justice—core principles upheld by the Constitution.

In his address, Governor Nallu spoke eloquently about the relevance of Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Diwas, highlighting the visionary leadership of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and the Constituent Assembly. He emphasized the importance of nurturing constitutional values such as equality, liberty, and fraternity among young learners. The Governor encouraged students to become responsible citizens who actively contribute to nation-building while respecting the diverse fabric of Indian society.

The event also featured a reading of the Preamble, a cultural presentation by students showcasing the theme of unity and constitutional spirit, and an insightful exhibition displaying important milestones in India’s constitutional history.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Governor for his inspiring presence and words of wisdom. The programme served as a powerful educational experience, instilling pride and awareness in students about the legacy and guiding principles of the Indian Constitution.
