Agartala, 9 November 2024: Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, inaugurated the Commemoration of Statehood Day of Uttarakhand at Raj Bhavan, Agartala, this morning. The event marked the 24th anniversary of Uttarakhand’s formation as a separate state on November 9, 2000.

The Governor extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Uttarakhand and highlighted the significance of the day in the context of the state’s growth and development. She praised the achievements of Uttarakhand in various sectors, including education, infrastructure, and tourism, and acknowledged the contributions of its people towards the state’s progress.

 

The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including officials from the state government and members of the Uttarakhand diaspora in Tripura. Governor Nallu expressed her solidarity with the people of Uttarakhand, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation between states in strengthening India’s federal fabric.

 

The event also featured cultural performances and presentations reflecting the rich heritage and traditions of Uttarakhand, creating an atmosphere of celebration and remembrance. Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu’s address underscored the shared values and bonds between Uttarakhand and Tripura.
