In response to the emergence of various diseases due to the floods, the Chief Minister has allocated ₹10 crores to the Health Department. Additionally, free rice at the rate of 10 kg per ration card will be provided for the next two months, benefiting 9.8 lakh ration card holders.

State BJP General Secretary Bhagaban Chandra Das, during a press conference at the state BJP office on Saturday, stated that district magistrates and sub-divisional magistrates have assessed the damages and submitted a memorandum to the central government.
