Agartala: Feb 22: Today, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha responded to questions from the media regarding GST evasion in the state. He emphasized that with the advancement of technology, it has become virtually impossible for anyone to evade GST. He stated, “Given the technological progress in the country, no one will be able to evade GST, even if they try.”

Dr. Saha further explained that for the state’s development, financial resources are essential, and GST plays a crucial role in generating these funds. He mentioned that the government has implemented various technological measures to ensure proper collection of GST, which not only benefits the state but also contributes to the nation’s overall progress. The Chief Minister highlighted that this system would help strengthen the economy of Tripura, aligning with the country’s broader economic growth.

He also emphasized the importance of improving the GST collection process and integrating modern technologies to enhance its efficiency.
