Agartala: Feb 16: Give Tipra Matha a chance to form the state government. If he comes to power, he will be careful to solve all the problems, this morning Manikya Deb Barma appealed to the people of the state by voting in Mandaibazar polling station under West Tripura district.Coming out of the polling station, Pradyot Kishore said, ‘It is clear from the enthusiasm of the voters that this time the crowd will break the previous record. Sure, the people of Tripura will give us a chance. But the people will decide who will sit in the top chair of the state. I urge people to give it a chance.”Pradyot claims that the main competition in Tripura will be with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Talking about the Bengali citizens of Tripura, he said, this time the Bengalis, tribals, Muslims and Christians will unite and defeat the BJP.Note that since no party has responded to the demands of Greater Tipra Land, this is the first time that Tipra Motha is competing alone in the polling arena.
