Agartala: Apr 02: Tripura is all set to host the first-ever G20 summit of the state commencing on the 3rd of April and for which more than 70 delegates from 14 member countries of G20 beside invitees from nine more nations reached Agartala on Sunday.
From the MBB airport they arrived to a hotel in Circuit House area in two special buses as on both sides of the road hundreds of NCC cadets and NSS volunteers welcomed them with flags of various member countries of G20.
Various cultural troupes also performed songs and dancers of different communities of Tripura to depict the rich heritage of the state.
The delegates will be attending a science conclave titled ‘clean energy for green future’ on April 3 at the International Fair Ground of Agartala, capital of the northeastern state.
They are also going to attend a business summit beside visiting various tourist destinations and attending other events before leaving the state of April 5.
