Four Individuals Apprehended in Alleged Human Trafficking Case

Agartala: April 24: The Border Security Force has detained two Bangladeshi nationals and two Indian citizens in connection with an alleged human trafficking case. The Bangladeshi nationals, identified as Mohammad Nur (22) and Mohammad Elamin Howlader (24), are residents of Rajapur, Khulna, Bangladesh. The Indian nationals arrested are Swapan Goala (46) from Kailashahar and Bidhan Deb (25) from Bhadrapalli.

Reports indicate that the detainees entered India through Kailashahar with plans to travel to Chennai in search of work. Authorities have registered a case under the Passport Act, and an investigation is underway. According to the Officer-in-Charge of Dharmanagar police station, the individuals are scheduled to be presented in court on Thursday.
