Agartala March 12: March 12 is the foundation day of the All India Democratic Women’s Association. The tripura state committee hoisted the flag in front of the CPIM West District Committee office on the occasion of the foundation day on Sunday. All India Vice-President of All India Democratic Women’s Association Rama Das, former MP Jharna Das Vaidya and others were present.
Rama Das said, after the conference in Chennai in 1981, the women’s association has expanded to 23 conferences in the country. He said that the All India Democratic Women’s Association has expanded the scope of the organization by fighting in the economic, social and overall fields of women in the country. Rama Das said that the All India Democratic Women’s Association will play an active role to establish women’s rights and protest against crimes related to women in the coming days.
