Former Tripura Health Minister Keshav Majumder passed away

Agartala, January 11: Former Tripura Health Minister Keshav Majumdar passed away. He was suffering from chronic diseases for a long time. He breathed his last this morning. Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed deep grief over his demise. His body was taken to the premises of the Assembly and CPI(M) Tripura state office this morning. There, his colleagues paid tribute to his mortal body with flowers.

On his demise, the Chief Minister prayed to God to grant peace to the departed soul and to grant strength to the bereaved family and countless others.

On his death, Agriculture Minister Ratanlal Nath said, he was an outstanding teacher – footballer and theater artist. For a long time, he handled the responsibilities of the state’s power, education, health and revenue departments with strength. He was the teacher of many former and present leaders, ministers and legislators of the state. He said that his death is truly a falling star in the state. He prayed to God to rest his departed soul.

Moreover, Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik expressed deep grief over his demise. He said, he was deeply shocked by his death. He prayed to God to rest his departed soul and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.

CPIM MLA Jitendra Chowdhury expressed deep grief over his demise. He was a good teacher.
