Agartala: The number of fatal road accidents in Agartala’s lone Flyover has spiked at an alarming rate in the last couple of months. The city dwellers have attributed the rise in such accidents to the lackadaisical attitude of the traffic unit of Tripura police which had practically failed to check those incidents. Late in the night, the whole flyover turns into a deserted area with no police official deployed for penalizing the traffic law violators.
