Then Dipankar Ghosh’s mobile phone was switched off. Krishna Ghosh was arrested after a complaint was reported to the police. Later Krishna Ghosh was released by the police. Locals believe that the body was recovered after so long due to police negligence. Maharajganj Fadi Police had no intention of proceeding with the investigation process of the complaints of local residents and Dipankar Ghosh’s brother Biplab Ghosh. The family members did not notice any police activity when they went to the police station. Meanwhile, according to the police, the CCTV footage of Dipankar Ghosh being taken away by the scooty was submitted to the police by the local residents. The police did not arrest Krishna Ghosh because the footage was not clear. The post-mortem report will clarify how Dipankar Ghosh died. The house of the deceased is in Sukanta Palli area adjacent to Pratapgarh Bazar. Dipankar Ghosh was murdered by family members. Residents demanded a fair investigation.
