Agartala:  October 23: Fisheries Minister Sudhanshu Das conducted a surprise inspection of the fish farming supply center in Hezamarah on Wednesday, following reports that the center had been closed for six months. During the visit, the minister ordered a show-cause notice to be issued to the center’s in-charge.

The inspection revealed that the supply center had been closed for an extended period, resulting in the deterioration of stored fish farming supplies and the overall infrastructure. Minister Das, accompanied by the Director, Additional Director, and other officials of the Fisheries Department, observed the neglected state of the facility firsthand.
