Agartala, December 20: Information Culture Department at Gandhi Ghat narrowly escaped from a major fire. A fire suddenly broke out in the garbage heap of the office. The incident spread panic in the entire area for a while.

Today, there was a sudden fire in the Information Culture Department at Gandhi Ghat. Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, director of the office, informed that there was a sudden fire in the garbage heap of the office.

Department officials witnessed the incident and informed the fire brigade. Three fire engines rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. If not, the local people are of the opinion that it could have become bigger.
