Fine Imposed for Illegal Posters in the City

Agartala: Dec 08: A fine of four and a half lakh rupees will be imposed for illegally putting up posters that say “What is your name?”. This was announced by Mayor and MLA Deepak Majumdar.

Posters saying “What is your name?” had been put up all over the city, sparking curiosity among the public. When the municipal corporation was asked about this, no initial response was received. However, the corporation investigated the matter.

 

Today, the mayor of the municipal corporation, Deepak Majumdar, announced that the person who put up the banners had been identified through the city’s traffic point CCTV cameras. Upon questioning, it was revealed that he had worked for a company. The company has been contacted and informed about the imposition of a four and a half lakh rupee fine for illegally putting up these posters.
