Agartala, September 29: Tripura Police continues war against drugs. Still, it is not possible to completely stop drug trafficking and sale in the state. Police of Sonamura police station recovered 650 bottles of Escoff and Phensydile after raiding a house last night on the basis of secret information. Two people have been arrested. The market value of the confiscated drugs will be approximately five lakh rupees.

It is known that, on the basis of secret information, the Sonamura police station received a report late on Thursday night that the house of Sabuj Rahman, a resident of Bejimara village, has drug paraphernalia stored in it. Based on that information, police, TSR and DIB forces jointly searched the house and recovered 650 bottles of Escof and Phensydile. Jalil Mia (45), a resident of Baramura, and Alamgir Hossain (36), a resident of Bansh Pond, were arrested and taken to the police station. The police are interrogating them.
