Agartala: Dec 05: There are no end of complaints about the service of dialysis department in GB Hospital. The patient’s family has complained that drinking water service has been stopped in the dialysis department of GB Hospital for the last one and a half months.

A patient’s family said that there has been a shortage of water in the dialysis unit for some days. Patients coming to the hospital for dialysis have to sit outside the ward for two to three hours. They are facing various problems.

Earlier heparin injection during dialysis was provided by government in GB hospital. But it is alleged that the free injection has been stopped for the past one month. The patient’s family is in trouble because; the medicine is being sold at the price of 335 taka in the market. Because of this, the patient’s family members are suffering from embarrassment while treating them.

The family of the patient further complained that when the hospital authorities were informed about this, they did not take necessary steps.
