Keeping the slogan “Cycle for Health” in front of the whole world, a district-wise bicycle rally was held on the occasion of World Bicycle Day 2023 with the initiative and financial support of North Tripura District Health, Family Welfare Department. On June 3, 2023, the bicycle rally organized by Nehru Youth Center North Tripura, NSS Unit North District, Padmapur Health Center and under the management of Innovative Social Organization started from the premises of Dharmanagar Ardhendu Bhattacharya Smriti Bhavan, circumambulated the various roads of Dharmanagar city and ended in front of Ardhendu Bhattacharya Smriti Bhavan. is District Hospital Program Officer Dr. Alak Kumar Dhar, District Nehru Youth Center Officer Kunal Gautam, North Tripura District NSS Unit District Secretary Akhil Baidya, Innovation Organization leader Randeep Rudra Pal and others were present as guests at the World Bicycle Day celebration. Members of NSS, NYK, India Scout Guides, various voluntary organizations participated in the bicycle rally. World Bicycle Day is celebrated on June 3 every year since 2018, when the United Nations adopted a resolution adopted by the Government of Turkmenistan.
