Agartala, April 13 (H.S.): The family members have deputed to the District Superintendent of Police demanding proper investigation into the death of Dipankar Ghosh, a resident of East Pratapgarh area. They alleged that the body was recovered 7 days after the disappearance due to the lack of proper investigation by the police.

It is to be noted that on April 6, Krishna Ghosh, a resident of Kashipur area, called Dipankar Ghosh from his home regarding financial transactions. After several attempts to contact his mobile, there was no response. After examining the CC cameras of the neighborhood, a complaint was reported against Krishna Ghosh to the police of Maharajganj outpost and Purba police station. The police also arrested him. But later the police questioned him and released him. Finally, the decomposed body of Dipankar was recovered from the Howrah river on Wednesday.
