Agartala September 14: The Department of Social Welfare and Social Education are committed to the welfare of the helpless and weaker sections of the society. Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy said this at the conference hall conference hall of Kunjaban Pensioners in Agartala today.

The workshop of the day was held on various projects and services of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education. Today’s workshop was held with the people’s representatives of West Tripura district. The selected people’s representatives of the district participated in the workshop.

On this day Roy said, the public representatives are the servants of the people. So the public representatives should be informed about the schemes and services of the Social Welfare Department. He said that the responsibility of public representatives is to present these projects and services to the public.

He expressed the hope that this workshop will help the public representatives to gain experience about the projects and services of the Social Welfare Department.
