Speaking during an interaction with residents, the Minister, who also holds charge of North West Delhi, assured citizens that all dilapidated water supply and sewer lines would be replaced. He further directed that no water or sewer connections should be granted without approved building plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory norms.

During his outreach visit, Ravinder Indraj toured several localities, including Deep Vihar, Begumpur, Barwala Road, Rajiv Nagar and its Extension, Pappu Colony, Krishna Colony, Shiv Vihar, and Shahbad Dairy. He held direct interactions with residents, listened to grievances, and issued immediate instructions to officials for prompt resolution of complaints.

Residents raised concerns regarding road and lane construction, water supply, cleaning of drains, sewer overflows, and waterlogging during the monsoon season. In response, the Minister instructed officials from the Delhi Jal Board, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Public Works Department, and other relevant agencies to ensure transparent, time-bound, and quality-driven redressal of all issues.

Ravinder Indraj emphasized that, following Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s directives, officials must regularly inspect their areas, monitor the progress and quality of development projects, and maintain continuous engagement with residents. He reviewed deadlines for ongoing works and reiterated that public outreach programmes and project monitoring would continue on a regular basis.

The Minister highlighted that the government’s priority is to ensure every colony is equipped with robust basic infrastructure, including roads, sewerage, water supply, sanitation, and street lighting, enabling citizens to live with dignity. He reaffirmed that the overall development of North West Delhi remains a top priority, and the administration is committed to achieving the vision of a “Developed Delhi” through active partnership with residents.
