Agartala Press club witnessed a cultural extravaganza today, organized by Sunrise, comprising of song, dance and recitation performed by participants across Tripura. This year on the auspicious occasion of Poila Baisakh, Sunrise launched their new television commercial for Shahi Garam Masala, endorsed by actors Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Shankar Chakraborty and Anuradha Roy. Sunrise had also embarked on a unique and wonderful initiative via their social media platforms. Led by celebrity musical band Meghbalika, the social media was flooded with initiatives of the people of Tripura showcasing their talents either by singing, dancing, or reciting. The culmination function of these performances was hosted at the Press Club by Sunrise where 60 top performers were invited, many of whom performed live and entertained the august audience.
Presided over by the Mayor and a host of celebrities who delivered warm and welcoming speeches, the Press club came alive with a celebratory mood and gaiety. The traditional inauguration lamp was lit by the Mayor while the guests were all welcomed by the Sunrise team and associates. Celebrity band Meghbalika added to the glamour and glitz to the event as they played their best songs regaling everyone present. The function concluded with the Mayor honouring the celebrities with mementos and he was also and honoured with a Sunrise memento. Each of the performers received a special Sunrise award for their participation. Overall a truly wonderful experience for all who attended this function.
The activity reemphasizes Sunrise’s role in making the lives of women easy, not only by offering convenience in their daily cooking, but also by celebrating big and small moments together, thereby, becoming an integral part of any Women’s life.
