Agartala: Mar 19: In a bid to secure voter support, CPIM’s nominated candidate Ratan Das has launched his door-to-door campaign for the upcoming Ramnagar Assembly by-election. This morning, he canvassed the Ramnagar area, engaging with residents and expressing his hopes for their endorsement.

Having previously served as an MLA in Ramnagar, Ratan Das emphasized his commitment to the community. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) has once again chosen him as their candidate, aiming to address the needs of the people.

During his campaign, Ratan Das took a firm stance against the BJP. He highlighted the widespread discontent among citizens toward the BJP-led government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that it has fallen short of expectations.

Reflecting on the 23rd assembly elections, Ratan Das expressed confidence in the eventual removal of the BJP government from the state. However, he lamented that some voters were unable to fully exercise their right to vote during that crucial election. Urging citizens to participate actively in the upcoming by-elections and Lok Sabha polls, he emphasized that their statements would find expression in the ballot box.
