Agartala: December 7 : Congress workers in five states are feeling extremely disappointed with the results. Therefore, the provincial leaders have taken steps to increase their morale. MLA Sudip Roy Barman rushed to Dharmanagar for that purpose. He held a closed-door meeting with state Congress leaders in North Tripura district. He strongly believes that India Alliance will do well in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
On this day, Sudip Roy Barman met with Congress leaders in an organizational meeting at Dharmanagar Circuit House. District Congress president Advocate Ajit Das, the winning candidate of Dharmanagar constituency Chayan Bhattacharjee, Congress leader Abdul Bachit Chowdhury and district and sub-divisional level leaders were present on the day.
On this day, Sudip Roy Barman claimed that the India Alliance will get good results in the next Lok Sabha elections. Congress lost two states in these elections but the Congress will turn around again before the Lok Sabha elections.
According to him, in the recently concluded assembly elections of five states, Congress got more votes than BJP. He claims that it is a good sign. Moreover, in over sixty seats, the Congress party has been defeated by a three-digit margin.
On this day, he expressed hope that the India Alliance will get good results in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and seize power at the Centre. He said the opposition will get a good result in Tripura.
