Agartala: Nov 13: On Wednesday, the Barjola Block Congress organized a solidarity march to promote development, unity, secularism, and the vision of building a progressive India. The event was attended by Ashish Kumar Saha, the Pradesh Congress President, who addressed the media during the march. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of pursuing a divisive political agenda aimed at creating rifts among the people. Saha emphasized that Congress is committed to promoting peace and unity and denounced the BJP government’s approach to governance, which he claimed is focused on spreading division.
Saha further criticized the BJP for its failure to maintain law and order, stating that the promises made by the BJP-led government at both the national and state levels have been completely forgotten. He stressed that the Congress party is determined to build a better, united, secular, and progressive India, and this march is part of their efforts to mobilize support for these goals.
The march began from the Barjola Block Congress office and traversed various local roads.
