Agartala, May 3: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has continued his sincere efforts to solve the basic problems of common people and as part of this he has been conducting meetings with the public at his official residence in Agartala for the past few days. And the benefit of this program is also being received by the common people.
Similarly, on Wednesday, the Chief Minister spoke to the common people from different parts of the state and showed his sincerity in solving their problems.
During the “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” program the common people have flagged their problems before the dynamic Chief Minister Dr Saha.
Dr Saha who believes in actions and not in words, has directed the officials of the state administration to perform their duties responsibly.
Soon after taking the charge of Chief Minister, he put himself in solving the problems of the people as one of the priorities of the government.
That is why he has been regularly meeting people for the past few days to know about people’s problems. And it is getting a huge response.
Recently, a destitute woman approached the Chief Minister hoping for justice after miscreants have attacked her husband. Police arrested the accused person within 24 hours of receiving the complaint. There are more examples like this.
As usual, people from different parts of the state came to meet the Chief Minister with their problems on Wednesday too.
After listening to their problems, the Chief Minister directed the administration officials to take action immediately.
Chief Minister’s Office Secretary PK Chakraborty, and Health Department Secretary Debashis Bose were present during the meeting.
Later, Chief Minister on social media wrote, “Another successful phase of the weekly meeting program i.e. “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” was held at my official residence today. In this sincere effort to be on the side of the people, I have instructed the concerned department to take necessary steps after listening to the complaints of the citizens coming from different parts of the state. Our government has been continuously trying to solve the basic problems of the people.”
