Agartala: Feb 01: 6 Agartala is one of the assembly constituencies in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has entered the fray to give mileage to the nominated candidate Papia Dutta in this Assembly constituency because this constituency has always been a challenge to the ruling party. BJP nominee Doctor Ashok Sinha was defeated by Congress candidate Sudip Roy Barman in the by-election.The heavy weight leader is also the Congress candidate in the upcoming elections. So it is a big challenge for the ruling party. Even after announcing the list of candidates in all the assembly constituencies, the Delhi leaders of BJP had to think a lot to announce the candidates in the 6 Agartala assembly constituencies. Now the BJP nominee has to put the Chief Minister’s face before the nominee’s face to win. On Wednesday morning, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha went to campaign in Molla Para with the nominated candidate. The Chief Minister showed the nominated candidate and urged people to vote. Even though there was not much response from the area, the Chief Minister claimed that the BJP is getting massive response. He claimed that victory was certain. But the question is how much mileage the BJP will get in 6 Agartala assembly constituencies by the Chief Minister because this center is basically bird’s eye for all political parties.
