Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday chaired an important high-level review meeting, reaffirming the state government’s strong commitment towards ensuring holistic public welfare. The meeting, described as a significant step in assessing ongoing development initiatives, focused on evaluating the progress of various projects being implemented across all districts of the state.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister thoroughly reviewed the status of multiple schemes currently in progress. He emphasized the need for effective execution of each project to ensure that the benefits directly reach the people, particularly those at the grassroots level. According to officials, the review covered projects across sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, rural development, and social welfare.
Highlighting the state government’s vision for inclusive development, Dr. Saha underlined that welfare measures must not only continue but also expand in scope to address emerging needs. To this end, he encouraged concerned departments to adopt innovative approaches, strengthen coordination, and remove bottlenecks in implementation.
The Chief Minister also engaged in detailed discussions with District Magistrates, senior administrative officers, and elected representatives including MLAs. He stressed that periodic review meetings with officials and legislators at the district level are essential to ensure accountability and transparency.
Dr. Saha reiterated that the state government’s core priority remains the overall welfare of its citizens, and therefore, supplementary welfare activities must be initiated alongside the ongoing schemes. He called upon officials to take proactive steps in identifying areas where additional interventions are necessary to uplift communities.
The meeting concluded with a strong message that the Tripura government will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling its pledge of comprehensive welfare and development for the people of the state.
