Agartala: Feb 14: 8 Town Bardowali is among the 60 assembly constituencies in the state. Ashish Kumar Saha, a former MLA from the area, is expected to win as the Congress nominee for a change. Similarly, the BJP nominated candidate from the area and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha is also expected to win by wiping out the opposition. However, the words of the two candidates are not the last.
8 Town Bardowali Assembly Constituency can be said to be a stronghold of voters for ages. Congress candidate Ashish Kumar Saha won from this constituency by defeating the long time Left candidate. In 2018, he won on a ticket from the BJP, riding on the wave of the saffron camp in the area. But after four years, he left the party at the request of the people and returned to the Congress. Doctor Manik Saha won the by-election in the area. Then Congress candidate Ashish Kumar Saha was defeated. Due to becoming the chief minister, Dr. Manik Saha has been plowing the field even before the election, getting a huge response in the area.
Chief Minister’s rival is Congress leader Ashish Kumar Saha. In support is the long-time wrestling group Left Front. After the announcement of the vote, he is also going from house to house. But due to being the Chief Minister, Dr. Manik Saha is getting extra mileage; it is clear from the talk of the Chief Minister. However, it would be wrong to think that people smiling means that they are in support of that political party. People are aware enough. And in view of this awareness, by going to the polls on February 16, the government will be established for five years in the state by exercising democratic rights. And when this is normal, all the nominated candidates are getting spontaneous response with a smile on their face, but inside they have an impression of thinking.
On this day, BJP nominated candidate Dr. Manik Saha was seen campaigning. On the last day of campaigning, he conducted a massive campaign in the area adjacent to Jayanagar. The Chief Minister faced the media and said that he was seeing the state of neutralization among the people. People of the state have seen a lot of politics of murder and terror. The Bharatiya Janata Party government was established in Tripura in 2018 to rid Tripura of that political terror. Chief Minister expressed his conviction that Tripura Bharatiya Janata Party government will be re-established on March 2. However, all the candidates are hoping for the final stage of the campaign, waiting for the judgment of the people. And from that point of view, the result will be released on March 2.
